Crazy to see the curvature (sp) of the earth and then the thing is on the ground like 2-3 min later haha.
That was def at Edwards AFB, that dry lake bed is something else. I was fortunate enough to see the Shuttle land there 2 times while I was stationed there. That thing sonic booms in, looks like a dot in the sky and then next thing you know it's coming in at such a steep angle and then BAM on the ground.
It's pretty crazy.
