Guys, that is Carlsbad Raceway...actually used to be :(
That pic brings back some good memories....not that you had to reverse and then do a burnout (sometimes in reverse), or when you staged, the car rolled forward while waiting for the ambers to drop! If you had anything that was serious fast, good luck in ever stopping and making the only left handed up a hill return road!
No score boards but just a light to show who won. Prep, what is prep? Still was a pretty fast track MPH wise....ET wise, it was as good as LACR is (2710' elevated vs 700' Carlsbad).
It was known as C-bad, but lots of fun memories cruising from the north at 6am to make a few runs!
