Thumbs up Check out my Rustoleum paint job

I decided to try the fabled "$50 rustoleum roller paint job" since I have alot more time than money. I figured if I can get enough paint laid down I can use my paint polishing skills to make it look decent.

    Here's what I started with:

and here's how it turned out:

I ended up spending about $75 in supplies, but got more than enough to do the entire car if I want to.

I'm pretty happy with the results. It's a decent amount of work with all of the sanding but not too bad. Can't beat the price either Hard to believe it's rolled on LOL

    Thanks :D

I cheated a little - I wetsanded with 1500 then 2500 then compounded with Meguiars M105 Ultra Cut Compound followed by final polish with M205.

Here's how it looked before sanding and buffing:

Thanks guys :D I guess I'll proceed with the rest of the car now, at least the top half...going to go two-tone since the paint on the bottom half of the car is decent
