friday cruise in on DESERTCRUISERS

At one point it was canceled a few years ago, when they started to re do the pavement and update the buildings. I went on down there to see and found about 20 cars there. Looks like its starting up again!

Even if it is canceled, there is still the Chilly Bombers cruise it that was doing well.

So there were 20 cars there, yet Desert Cruisers has it listed as cancelled on the 19th? Clear as mud! I know there "was" a cruise night there several years ago. 91st and Northern killed that one as well as the one in Surprise when it was in full swing. Now that the tuners killed 91st (at least what I heard) everyone is scrambling for a new location. Believe it or not, Bombers will bomb in time when everyone realizes they'll need to bring a spot light just to see some of the late arrivals between the parking lot lights.

For what it's worth...maybe an early "get 'n go" to Bombers or Freddies (aka The Over The Hill Gang Parking) now and then, or Norterra for the exclusive nights, or Anthem and 67th Ave and Deer Valley when I'm in the mood for a Dairy Queen Blizzard. Of course there is always ole' reliable 35th Ave and Northern, when I feel like fighting off the kids leaning against my car.

We get there early and show 'em some CRAZY mustang camaraderie!

btw: anybody got any details on a new cruise-in on 67th and Peoria on friday nites in the parking lot of the Goodwill?
