Sanderson Ford Museum (111 pics)
9/14/09
Not an "official" museum, just a collection of cars, automobilia and Americana on the grounds of the dealership. Housed in a non descript metal building, just like the parts dept and other "sales units".
Amassed by the owner of Sanderson Ford, David Kimmerle. He married founder Don Sandersons daughter, Sue. Not open to the public, its doors only open to special groups about 4 times a year or I suspect special guest individuals from time to time.
There with Wild Westers as guests of the Arizona Auto Hobbyists Council, which we as a club have sinced joined.
This is the dealership that I got my used 02 GT from as well as my GO. Just FYI, Sanderson took back the second GO I ordered even after I had had it in my possession for four days, in addition to already "owning" the car for 9? days on paper. Truly the "Dealership that Service Built". They GENEROUSLY sponsor our club.
The pics and vid will speak for themselves, vid at the end:
First up, the cars, two were missing this night. One is a red 60 Starliner, not sure the second. But there are still others that get rotated through.
