    Cams and Head work

Anybody have cams installed on their 3v in Arizona? Or had the heads or intakes ported? Anybody have some ballpark prices out here, I know every shops are pretty secretive, but just looking for ballparks or reputable shops. I used to know a bunch of shops back home in Michigan but obviously Im not there anymore.

I don't think there is much to gain with having the heads ported..or at least the bang for the buck isn't worth it..IMO..

Gain on cams and head work are not really worth it. Too much money, not enough bang for the buck. Although cams do make it sound good, The 3v heads already flow amazing, although you might be able to squeeze a little more out of them but i would say theres money better spent!

I could sell ya a ported head and cam combo, but there are much better things to do with your money first for a better funfactor to the dollar spent.
With your GT, I'd much rather sell ya a gear change with rear suspension mods first. CAI and a custom dyno tune second with maybe an axle back set of mufflers for sound and a bit of HP. After that, you would have to choose what direction you want to take the car...........N/A....Nitrous.....Super charger........or nitrous.
My build philosophy is to maximize the use of what HP and TQ you have and to get it ALL to the ground. I love seeing people happy with their car and I hate seeing people spending good money after bad and not being happy with their car.
Feel free to call me at the shop from 9am to 6pm and I'll be happy to help you meet your goals with your car and to not blow your money on mods that you don't really need at this particular time in your build of your baby.

How much HP do ya wanna make?
2.3 Whipple with the HO kit and a conservative tune is 480/480 to the ground on a stock longblock 08 Bullitt with the GT500 fuel pump kit.
