Meet some place for breakfast. Then we cruise up the I-17 to The 179. Maybe stop at at the Sunset point on the way to the 179 for some pics and a break. Then we will take the 179 to Sedona. Eat lunch in Sedona Or Flag. When we get to Sedona we will take the 89a through Oak Creek Canyon and we will stop on top of the Canyon where there is a rest stop/look out scenic veiw spot. There is plenty of parking and lots of snow. The 89a is usually in great condition for driving and would be the only road we would have ice if there is any at all. I have done this trip for the last five years and have never had any problems. Is any one interested?
