Going Above 20 May Land You In Jail With A Criminal Record

Might want to think about backing it off some in the future. Especially, around all the cameras along AZ interstates and highways.

I'll admit 20 over is a "little" overstated and dangerous. But 30 days in jail, with a record, and a $500.00 fine is overstated and ludicrous considering the type of vehicles being manufactured today and especially in some of AZ's famed "speed traps".

Only in the state of AZ...

in almost any state 20 over can land you in jail. Most officers dont do it, but they do have the right to. In NY I had a 20 over ticket and the fine was $675, I had it dropped down to failure to signal

I was 2 mph away from that jail sentence when I got my last speeding ticket November 08. Turns out my speedo was runing high. Phew!

Back when I lived in NC, 15 over would/could land you in jail and was supposed to be a mandatory license suspension.
