    Tire sensors question????

Hey yall, I have a question, I was offered some chrome rims and tires which I want. I will be paying for them of course. But the question I have is what about the sensors? I have them currently on my 2007, Can they be transferred over to the new tires??? Any help would be greatly appreciated :))))

Yes they can be transfered over to your new wheels. I believe that you sensors are band clamped around the barrel of your factory wheels. Just have to remove them off your wheels and install them on the new wheels.

Or you could just say piss on them. I didn't bother with them on my new wheels. Just gives me an idiot light (which I covered w/a small piece of e-tape till I get ambitious enough to pull the bulb).

Here is some info from the factory service manual; there is a little more info on the same site if you want to poke around a bit

Some state inspections won't pass you if you have the TPMS warning light on, so you may want to swap those sensors.

Any tire shop should be able to swap them into your new wheels. You need new bands and brackets to attach the sensors to your new wheels though, we sell them here: http://www.americanmuscle.com/universal-tpms-bands.html

We also sell complete sets of new sensors, if you have two sets of wheels, say one for summer and one for winter tires, and want to switch back and forth without involving a tire shop.
