Finally got it to the track...for some tuning. After being down for over a year WOW was there alot to do!
I would like to give big thanks to No Lemon (tuning), Dude, Slowvert, and 86Foureye.
Bill (No Lemon) spent many hours with me Friday and Saturday trying to get my tune somewhat close and safe so I could make a few passes. Andy (Dude) wrenched with me a few days till 3am, and then came right back the next morning. We worked our tails off!
Slowvert came through during the week and pulled a few 2-3am nites with me prepping the car.
I really appr it fellas!
Saturdays AZ Fastest Street Car Race was dedicated to Jenna, so it was a must I was there...and these guys made it happen for me!
Friday I made no passes, just did tuning in the pits. We couldn't get the boost under 15#s. We spent all night tuning and got alot of bugs worked out.
Saturday I made a few soft passes, as the car hasn't been down the track in a loooong time. All passes were on 6#'s of boost.
Off the footbrake I went a 1.7 60' and ran a best of 11.9@116 shifting at 5600rpm. A/F was in the 10's and only ran 16* total on that run.
My next pass I tried a transbrake launch built 5-6#'s of boost, when I launched I spun to what seemed the 1000' mark haha. All my suspension is right outta the box and on the car, so lots of dialing in to do.
Didn't break, and found alot of issues I need to work out, so it went well.
Now to turn the boost up and run some timing :icon_cool:
