part of the stereo I built for the mustang included a custom rear deck that would be painted to match the exterior, but allow the speakers to play through and to show 2 of the cross-overs as well. I finished the cover to primer but was always afraid that once it was painted(dark green/black) that it would cause the fiberglass and the perferated metal of the speaker grills to expand at different rates and cause cracking. One of the ideas I had to fix this was to get some rear window louvers but I have never seen them on a SN95 style. I always liked the look of them on the mach 1s and they were supposed to fit mine as well so when I found a deal on one earlier this year I figured I could always try it on with out mounting it and sell it if I didn't like it. I put it on there today and took a couple of pics to get opinions. The top corners need a little work and maybe some gentle bending to fit perfectly but it isn't too bad. I like the look from the back but not so much from the side but I am also trying to picture the side when I finish it with the side exhaust kit I have waiting.

what do you guys think?

I say don't do it. I think that the body lines look a lot better without them. Just double limo tint the back window and that should take care of the sun.

thanks for the replys fellas. Love em or hate them I would like to hear your opinion as I agree to be honest. There isn't a straight line on the car so they really just don't look right imo.
