I fryed my transmission the other day and am trying to figure out exactly what i want to do...My car is an 01 gt with a few performance mods. Probably the biggest being a Kenne Bell 2.1 blower at 9psi and 373 gears. The car has a 4R70W auto transmission.
My question for you all:
1. Does anyone know the speed of the stock stall converter?? I have gotten different answers and am considering putting like a 2100 stall when I have it rebuilt.
2. If i do go with a 2100 stall is a multi disc converter necessary?
3. I was told that with this transmission (AOD) that before a WOT run I need to turn off the AOD manually because it's too hard on the transmission/converter?
Please advise...
