cooling fan replacement.

has any 03 cobra owners replaced the fan yet? mine is making a loud ticking sound. sounds like its hitting a wire tie or someting but i cant find where its hitting anything. anybody else been through this? doesnt feel loose either. cuts on and off normal but sounds awful !

yea, i had the hood up after a drive and the fan was on. im going to remove it and run it out of the car to see whatduproblemiz !! i'll let ya know.

ok, took the fan out and after looking at it. it had broken in one spot in the ring of it. so check this out, with a steady hand i cut the rest of the ring off the fan. hooked it up to the battery. nice !!! spins faster, no wobble, and quite ! installed it and drove over an hour. fan came on and off 3 times. had to listen for it. and.....my temp gauge was lower about 10 degrees. i have one coming on monday so if it fails owell. but if it dont?? hmm? sweet.

just an update on the fan, so far so good. no noise and still cools the beast down.
