Firebird just doesn't hardly seem worth it anymore. It's always pretty shitty each time I head out. Sundays at speedworld are where it's at.

Im not driving 60 miles one way all the time so I can have a little fun. Firebird is much more convenient for me. Definately need to check out speedworld one day

It's worth it to make the drive every month or two out there when the weather is good. The 60 mile drive has always been worth it for me. Just sucked limping the car home driving clutchless for 65 miles when my clutch went out.

What did you break?

Not sure yet, but Im having troubles getting it into gear and also going thru gears. At idle if I oush the clutch in a bit it makes a funky clunking sound.

Possibly one of the springs on the hub? Which clutch are you running? Or does it sound like something from the tranny itself?

Its a repetative clunking sound, If in engage the clutch just 1 inch you can here it. Definately coming from the trans area. Maybe TOB?

That sucks Kenny. Did you get any runs in before the clutch/tranny issue?

2 Runs but shut it down when I couldn't get it into 3rd. So I ran a 12.6 at 80mph and a 13 something at 66.:woot2:

I'd say either your TOB or one of those springs on the sprung hub is causing you some issues. Most likely the TOB I'd think if your springs are poly coated like mine are on my RAM Powergrab. Sounds like it's time to drop the tranny. That's always fun

yeahhhh :woot2: I hope its the TOB and nothing more. Guess I will find out.

You could always open the trans up yourself and service it with the parts you need. I wonder if D&D performance would sell you the parts needed to make it a V-spec?

opening up and doing any work on the trans is out of my league..
