Playing against blitzing teams the past couple days greatly helped the Cardinals out for going in to face the Steelers. If Warner plays the blitz like he did against the Eagles in the first half its going to be a long day for the Steelers end of story. Parker can be shut down and the Steelers will not be throwing into a hurt up secondary like they were this week. If Hines Ward MCL doesnt heal good and he cant play the entire game they are done. its always intresting when an aggressive defense goes up against an aggressive offense. I think the Cardinals have a few more tricks up there sleeves with the offensive play calling, but remember the Steelers will get help from the Ref's in the Superbowl which could lead to there 2nd helped superbowl win in a row

Its going to be a tough game but did anyone atch the hitsburgh that the No.1 Defense against the Pass, Run and everything did last night? Did you see any hits like that in the Cardinal Game????? Its going to come down to who wants it more. I just love Cardinal Fans talking smack for well they have never been able to do that before and thats a good thing , Pittsburgh Fans, well they don't have to prove a damn thing. I'm torn I want the Cardinals to win but I'm die cast Black and Gold and will never ever root for any other team against my stillers...

I went to the game yesterday, and tailgated until they kicked us out. Lets just say this am was a bit rough, and I am now going to bed (6:30 pm).

It was all worth it, the rediculous ticket prices, over 200 bucks in beer/food, late night jack in the box, cabbing to get my truck this am, the hangover......ugh....all worth it as that was the best damn game I've ever seen, and the best atmosphere ever. Mike out.

biggest fan base is a bold statement. Look at the fan base of the cowboys and packers. 300 game isnt a big home sell out streak....the Redskins have sold out every home game since 1968. Lets not forget they carry towels so they can cry about the game. Whiz has the upper hand in game planning knowing a lot about the team.

Maybe the Cardinals would have hired the coach that got fired from the Raiders because he was next on the list.... Wizz is a great coach and he learned almost all from Coach Cowher and the Steelers Staff. Also remember that Pittsburgh is not a Multi-Million Dollar Market with many more working class fans than most teams.

I'm from NY and yes there are few more hardcore fans back east...it's expected. The teams have been around a hell of a lot longer. But every team no matter what city will new fans jumpin the bandwagon if they make the playoffs.

Personally I was quiet because I was too drunk/pissed/drunk, to say anything. So many missed opportunities and they were one tackle or one incomplete pass away. Ben even said his last touchdown pass he thought was picked as soon as he threw it.

BTW, Warners so called fumble was in incomplete pass, there should have been one more play.

now that i would have to disaggre with. there have been many a games i have seen when my bears have lost, they lost. and as of late its been either orton or grossman that have lost it for us. and truth be told, i was only going for the cards because the bears were out, and it was great to see the home town team make it. i'm not gonna be like the rest of the city and rush out to buy anything red and white. i just wanted to see them do what no one thought they could do. and honestly, even with the way the game was called, they still made one hell of a game out of it.

One of my friends is a Mexican guy who was born and raised in Arizona, hes a young guy (26), never been out of the state except to go to Mexico. Says hes a big Steeler fan, I asked him to spell Pittsburgh. Couldn't do it. Asked him to spell the state that they played in, couldn't do it. He didn't even attempt which piqued my interest so I asked him to name the state that HIS Steelers played in and low and behold he couldn't do it.
