Okay I have 18x9 Saleen rims on my car but the back wheels look like they are tucked under the car. What size spacer to I need to bring them out for a flush look? (fronts are flush already) I will be buying some 18x10 saleen rims for the back soon so this might change what I need? Who out there runs spacers on what size rim? I just want a flush look for the rear. Thanks.

P.S. Guy locally is selling 1/2" spacers. Would that be enough or would I need more spacing?

I just want them to be flush or very close to flush with the fender edge and the wheel. If it makes a difference I am running a 285/35/18 tire with an IRS

I've got a 3/8th spacer - never been used. Give me a call if you're interested.

I think something on the lines of 3/4 inch will bring them out nice and flush with the frnder.

i would think just shy of 1 inch to give it the look of the 18x10's

Hubcentric or nothing at all!

Well I can either get a 3/4 inch or a 3/8 inch one. This will be on a 18x10 saleen rim BTW.

Will do. I am going to check out how the 3/4" one fits on my 18x9's looks like they dont need too much spacing to be flush. Not sure how the 18x10 will look but I need a spacer regardless on 18x10 because of my IRS. Might keep the 18x9's and buy the 18x10's and have a 305/35/18 MT drag radial mounted on :hyper:
Will let you know if I end up needing it.

I've been told NOT to use any kind of wheel spacer on the mustangs. I wanted to use some for my mach 1, but did searching and searching, and all I came up with was people telling me not to use them, even the hubcentric ones.....so are they or are they not safe? If they are, then with the stock 17 x 9 tire/wheel, what would be a good size to go with for the mach?

I'd only suggest them for fitment problems. For appearance, I'd say leave them alone. Your wheels look fine as they are Tammy, if you want to make them sit a little more flush then upgrade to a wider wheel when money permits. Lol.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I want the dd wheels, but noone makes em anymore for the stock mach finish.

worse come to worse have your stockers widened. Sure they won't be DD, but you'll have that wide stance you want.

Widen the stock ones? Oh, don't think I want to mess with that.

I run a one inch spacer with 17X9 Cobra rims and I think it is perfect. I would not do anything until you get the wheels. A friend of mine has 17X10 bullets and it looks real good with no spacer.
