FS: 1996 mystic cobra

Up for sale is my 96' mystic cobra. Cobra #5464 of 7496 and mystic #1189 of 2000. This is a nice vehicle with no engine mods at all. The engine bay is a little dirty considering it looks like someone tried painting some of the things under the hood. When I tried cleaning it with carb cleaner most of it came off. The suspension has KYB shocks/struts, Eibach sportline kit and Maximum Motorsports 4 bolt caster/camber kit. It has chrome cobra r (look-a-likes) w/ nitto tires. Interior has brand new corbeau microsued seats both passenger and driver. there is an alarm and alpine radio. new headlights/bulbs, steeda short throw shifter w/ bullit shift knob. Ford radio/cd delete kit. New battery. the car overall i would rate an 8.5/10 the paint is pretty good and the interior is pretty good. It could use a new top piece of the arm rest for it is worn out. the emergency break rubber piece has fallen apart as well. it also does not have an ash tray. These parts can all be purchased on 50resto.com for fairly inexpensive. All the parts I have put on the car are less then a month old. The ac and the power steering and radiator were all just inspected/flushed and filled. no issues with the car and no accidents. and the vin # is 1FALP47V7TF163401. If you pull a car fax it will show im the 4th owner but im actually the 3rd. The original owner sold it to his brother and then bought it back. i then bought it about 2 years later. Still for sale. bassani off road pipe now on. Would like to move this pretty soo. I will accept $8k for it. It just sits in the garage now for my sister lives with me now and she has a heart condition and just the idle of it let alone how loud it is when you start it hurts her. So I will need to sell it and get an auto 4 door. thanks

Thanks sorry it was blurry. my camera sucks. Going to have to get an auto. I was thinking of an evo but thats only in manual. so maybe a G8 GT. I dont know might even get a fusion. I just want some horse power. But nothing is a matter with the car. That doesnt mean that something cant break 2 weeks down the road. But as of right now the car runs good/strong for no engine mods.

Oh and there are some tiny scratches from driving and only 1 dent which you can see in the last pic.

LOL! yeah its hard to find a powerful 4-door with a V8. But the one I would like is the g8 gxp that just came out but way out of my price range. i will most likely just get a fusion. I can get a nice used one for 10-12k for the time being till money pics up again.

we have loved our mazda 6. and its basically the same car as the fusion. fact if i were you i'd look into the mazda. i know its got a foregin name on it, but they were built in the same building as the stang anyways. and our 04 has been super reliable and a blast to drive.

Devils advocate - How is it a lack of respect to offer some one 6K for a car that is in N.A.D.A for $8700? and that is retail, not private sale. We all know that when you add any modifications to your vehicle, you will get a pennies on the dollar return. A perfect example is Barret Jackson. A car will be built and sometimes it sell for far, far less money that it took to even build the thing. Most people haggle - you send a low ball offer and wait for a counter offer - and it is unfortunately a total buyers market. A 1996 Cobra isn't quite collectible enough to be immune to this market.

First off its not about making an offer then countering it. my price is my price. kbb and nada are just examples. they may give a price and some might get more and some might get less. Who cares what the book says. Also nobody said anything about asking more for it because it has mods. If your not looking to buy it then dont worry about the price. look and see what other mystics are selling for. 2 years ago nada also said my saleen was worth $37k. Do you honestly think I got anywhere close to that? no I didnt. if someone want a pretty clean cobra and a mystic with no engine mods then I have a great car at a pretty good price. And this isnt barret jackson its high performance stangs :woot1:
