2nd Annual Shelby GT500 Mustang Roundup Event - Heralding The GT500 Herd

Shelby GT500 Owners From All Over The Country Converged In Oviedo, Florida, For The 2nd Annual Shelby GT500 Roundup. (http://www.musclemustangfastfords.com/events/mmfp_0809_shelby_gt500_mustang_roundup_event)It started in 2007 with an idea between a few friends: "Let's get together with our GT500s, and we'll invite a bunch of other people from the Internet to come." Isn't that how most shows/clubs start out? Initially, Don Donelson, Brad Sokoly, and Scott Morrison rounded up six late-model Shelby GT500 Mustangs, but that figure quickly grew to 21. They had a couple of small awards to give out, but without even trying, the guys knew they were on to something, and they decided to make it an annual event called the Shelby GT500 Roundup.
