I'd go for the 745i, nice car and it has the maintenance package included. what about the new Lexus ISF? probably cheaper than the 745 and the Benz....:pinkthumb:

i've driven both I'd say the 745, but drive them yourself might think the 745 is to big (its a little bigger overall then the clk)

BMW is blowing out the E65/66 7-series in preparation for the next generation 7 coming out early next year. They come with a 100,000 mile warranty. That includes maintenance. Also, the 745 was replaced by the 750. It has a 4.8 liter V-8 compared to the 745's 4.4 liter V-8. Also, the 750's have all of the bugs ironed out of them that the earlier 7's were plagued with. It is an amazing automobile. They also come in two differnent wheel bases, and there is also a model with a V-12 in it. The 760. I work at Chapman BMW on Camelback and 12th St. as a service tech. You should stop by and take one for a test drive. You won't be disappointed. If you have any questions about the cars, you can post it on here or PM me. I will happily answer any questions you have.:hi:

I work in a shop that works on a lot of European vehicles and I would never buy one of those vehicles. Every time I sell a job on a Mercedes its a 3000.00$ or more ticket. I would agree with going with Lexus before I would consider spending the astronomical purchase price of a European vehicle, jmo.

The maintanance on that BMW is a killer. My vote is Lexus as I had a 325CI and the tranny would slip with 5k miles on it. Never again!
Good luck.. Both cars are problematic cars. If you don't mind spending time at a dealer twice a year...buy one.. If you do...stay away.
..and never buy a used German car.....OMG
BMW's are known for going thru brakes once a year.
Mercedes....fuh getta bout it. Ask any true Mercedes owner about their car and they will tell you unless you're ready to deal with a lot of maintenance, stay away.
Maybe look into a M45 or Lexus..
M45's are sweet

Yea but who wants to have to go to the dealership every month to get shit worked on?
I'd say a Lexus IS350 or a G37S. BMW's and Mercedes just scream "I'm a snob"
