I want to add a cold air intake -- is K&N about the best around? Is it necessary to add a sensor as well?
Also, I've seen a couple cars with Kenny Brown sub frame connector kits. Do these kits really help our cars handle better? I have a vert -- this kit may be a real plus.
Thanks for any information

In my opinion, full length subframe connectors are a must- especially with a vert. It's absolutely night and day compared to stock.

I'm thinking the same thing -- thanks for the reply

i would definetly due the sub frame connectors. no doubt about that. as for the intake, how much modding do you have planned?

Not much more than the suspension and the intake -- my car is still under warranty until next August so I have to be careful.

Mine is under warranty too until next summer. I did Maximum Motorsport full length subframe connectors which helped a lot and was especially noticeable on the vert. I don't think Kenny Brown stuff is being sold right now though.
I went with a JLT ram air style intake. A lot of guys here either have that one or the cold air style JLT.

Thanks for the comment on vert experience with subframe connectors -- makes sense that theywould be helpful relative to handling but it's always good to hear from someone who has tried them out. That's the power of these forums

Nice Cobra!
If you want some serious FLSFCs look into the Global West pair, otherwise i'd say Maximum Motorsports. As far as intakes, they are all similar, i'd recommend a straight shot opposed to the inner fender kits. Not sure what you are referring to by sensor? But you do not need to do anything as far as the MAF or the tune is concerned, the only intake I have ever "heard" of causing a lean condition is the K&N FIPK.
What kind of exhaust do you have? It looks like the forest has an catback up for grabs over there lol

I have flowmaster now -- nice sound but nothing that would instill fear in anyone.
Thanks for the information
