Suspension is only eibach drag springs all around.......the rest is stock....the car likes to unload the driver side tire.
This coming winter I will be shooting for 11.5's
I will be adding:
50/50 shocks
air bag in the pass rear
upper and lower control arms
subframes
4.30 gear
Maybe a better tranny so I can powershift.
Here is a vid of a 12.1 run (warm day)
http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i309/econovan/Videos/th_86run2.jpg (http://s75.photobucket.com/albums/i309/econovan/Videos/?action=view¤t=86run2.flv)
I still got some work to do. Got to get the bumpers pushed in some more, take out some metal from the front bumpers and put the drivers seat back in so i can take it to get the sub frame connectors put in. Still debating on a cage at this point. When thats done I iwll get the donor Mark VII to my house to do the suspension swap and motor swap.

One more Fox owner checking in with an 88' GT that I bought April 26, 1991 with 28,527 miles on the odometer (Still have the newspaper classified ad for the Car too!). Today the Car turned 225,000, 17 years, 2 1/2 months after bringing it home the first time.
We need to have a Fox Mustang Roundup night out at 83rd and Northern this fall! A parking lot full of Foxes would be one for the Magazines! Gonn'a buff out the paint, and replace the headlights for that one!

There was some talk today at the CMC meeting for a third Friday dineout in October at Hal O' Peno's, 35th Ave and Northern, with a cruise out to 83rd and Northern after. Maybe we will do it then, set aside a couple parking isles for Foxes. If you don't have a Fox, you could come out and see what it is all about.
There is a very nice Orange Fox Capri on the Westside, I have seen around the loop 101/ I-10 area a couple times, I would like to get a close look at it, and talk with the owner.
Dave might have to hire a Car transporter for the evening.

Only thing I have are the sail panels
AMNick,
I really like how clean your interior is. Whats it say above the stereo? Thanks! The panel is actually the prototype of the panel we sell on our website...I had it engraved in Russian Cyrillic, says Hospodi Spasi I Socrani...which is Lord save and protect. I thought was appropriate the way I drive! LOL

blueoval, nice ass coupe. What all you done to it?
Well, quite a bit since that was taken. Its sitting in primer in my garage now waiting for me to free up some time before I give it a final blocking and then its time for new paint. The badging is gone, and so is the antenna. All of the moldings are off and the quarter windows and trim are repainted. I sold the 10th Anny wheels and its on Pro Stars (which I would like to trade for some black bullits/FR500's/Saleens, etc). I replaced the stock hood w/ a cowl. Oh, and it has an S-trim to go along with just about every other bolt-on that they make for Foxes.
I've had some free time lately so I thought I'd put it to good use. :icon_cool:

White90GT
01-05-09, 11:24 PM
The plate was $150, the guages were ~ $525 and then it was ~ 8 hours with an electrical diagram. I added 14 pin connectors so the guage plate could be removed as well as a trickle discharge so the alternator would charge the battery.
The stock guage cluster trickle discharges so that has to be duplicated or no charging of the battery will occur.
Otherwise it was piece of cake.
