just looked,,, i will be racing on the 12th and thay have t&t lanes so that would be a good night as the prep is good on NHRA Summit races

Nice, should be able to get a reasonable deal on either given that so many people have been dumping their cars because of gas prices.

Yeah this is the perfect time for me to pick up a cobra, I can get one from my buddy for 21K so hopefully they will approve me for that much, if not then I will try to get a mach 1 and just build it up

I agree with PonyGirl, next time you all go, post it up, so we all can go, racers and spectators. I've been wanting to go for quite sometime, and I always find out about it a day before or a day after. Give us some notice and we'll come cheer you on.

its better then duct tape and bubble gum.

I have not been to speed world yet. I am waiting for a stupid little part(egr spacer) that I need to put the intake back together and it is supposed to be here on the 10th. If I can get it back together I would love to make a run er two to see if it helped any, I mean how much it helped......

What size? If your part doesn't show up let me know. I might have a 70mm laying around you can borrow. That is if the price on the electric fan is right!!! :pepper:

its a 3/8". I added a cobra intake to my gt, as well as 3/8" phenolic spacer so the EGR pipe is now short. I might be in need of a throttle body if that is what you are talking about.

No, not the TB, I was talking about the spacer shown here (http://www.texashotrods.com/storefrontprofiles/DeluxeSFItemDetail.aspx?sid=1&sfid=70952&c=49722&i=22403866). I don't have any extra TB's, sorry.

Your only on 2 kits, it'll be a walk in the park. Better add another stage, the car is getting close my young jedi.

Maybe we could get a group together and make the trip out to Speedworld after the temps drop (Heat seems to kill DOHC Mod Motors). It will be incentive for me to get off my butt, and get some rear suspension parts I have sitting around, installed on my Car.

I was there about a week ago or so, but unbeknownst to us there was some ricer bullshitfest going on that night so there was an additional charge to get a tech card, and it was so busy (and SLOW) that I didn't get a single run in.

The event in question was "MIDNIGHT RUN". I've seen more organized monkey shitfights.
Next time I show up for some random saturday night racing, I'm going to scope it out on the internet first.

I learned the first time I went to the track to check and make sure. Some how I missed that the NHRA funny cars were in town so I wondered why it was so crowded pulling in but didn't know any better. When we got up to the parking lot I heard one of the funny cars make a run and wondered who was bringin that much of a car for an open to the public friday night.
