Its a 1975 Di Marco. I dont know much about the boat. Bought it on Ebay for 1,900.00 came from Santa Rosa, CA. It came with "everything but a motor".
Well In the pic's It does not look that bad but wow! the floor was full of water, and there was holes all over. I am now fiberglassing the boat and about to paint the top 3/4 of the boat. Here is my progress.
Here is when I just got it.

The wiring was fried in the back. I think there was a fire in it. The guy put the rub rail in and used 1inch wood screws and they went through most of the wires...... So I will be rewiring the full boat, after paint.
When I go to the machine shop tomorrow I will take pic's of the engine.

Looks like alot of fun........I wish I had the patience for something like that.
do you have a name for it yet? As soon as I saw it, it reminded be of the movie the great outdoors when dan acroyd(sp?) went and rented the Suck My Wake and towed john candy around the lake....
A 454 in that little thing, should make for some great gas milage......

lol yes it will be fun! I do have a name!
"Mc Lovin"
or
"Likes IT Wet"
what do you guys think?
likes it wet could have a good, a bad, and an ugly meaning that would make for a bad joke if you ever had an accident on it......... to me it says,"watch what you ask for" flavor to it that scares me.
