03/04 Cobra engine to 02 GT?

I am seriously considering a 03/04 cobra engine (4.6L DOHC S/C) for my 02 GT (4 speed automatic w/shift kit). I am aware that I need the cobra computer, wiring harness, a/c controls. Some of the things I am most concerned about and wondering if anyone could help out is the hood clearance for the new motor, right now i have a cervini ram air hood??? Another thing is will my transmission hold up the way it is(i know transmission swap is an option but i'd like to keep the setup i have right now)??? Will the power brakes need to be switched around???? Any advice and info given I would greatly appreciate it.

Hood should work fine, Post up a pic so I know were talking about the same one.

Dont think you can use your trans and youre going to want the Cobra brakes at least

Talk to PSR..they did a grey GT last year with a 4v cobra motor. Not sure what happened to that car, it had 18" saleens.
