Yeah, I just read about the 08 S302 Extreme in 5.0 mag that was $90k after taxes, dealer prep, guzzler, etc and they said there is a $18k paint option putting a Mustang over the $100k mark. Wow.

That's rediculous. I still can't believe that the GT500 is for sale at dealers for 10k over sticker or "market adjustment". With the current market, you'd think that "market adjustment" would be a negative number. But if they're selling for that much- so be it I guess. That's why I still think $ for $ the 03-4 Cobra is the way to go...under 30k, tons of power, and a blast to drive.

For that money I'd opt fopr the ZO6 as well. A black one at that. Not that I have thought about it or anything. LOL

I saw this car at the 2004 Detroit Auto Show. It was on display with the Ford GT and the "new" 2005 Mustang. All cars painted the same color scheme and all with a lic. plate "MADE IN DETROIT WHERE GOD INTENDED" It was said it was Fords next Cobra (no Shelby relationship). Most people did not like it.....hence its not here. Note the 2005 Mustang! This was the first showing of the finished car...I have great pix of the display (sorry their 35mm's). Racin-Rick
