I'm lookin at buying a friends 04 GT, but still trying to see if I can afford it, so if I get it, you'll be seeing a lot of me, if not, then you probably won't see me.

I drive a 1977 GMC K25 now its a beast, its fun, but it gets 8MPG. So thats not working.

Besides that, I'm going to school to become a tech and thats about it.

Figured that it was you. It's really not a bad gt. That thing destroys stock and lightly modified GT's. And it did pretty well against my Mach when it was stock. Finding a comp orange GT 5 speed coupe with black leather and all the goodies is not too common. I think I maybe saw one come in through Berge when I worked there, and we used to stock a large number of Mustangs.

I'm not questioning the condition of it at all. Its just convincing the parents to buy it for me. If i had the money on my own, i'd already own the car. The comp orange is amazing looking too.

I'm just giving you the tools to persuade them, I know you've got the low down on that gt. :icon_cool:

Is it just that one window that the tint is peeling or the back one too?

thats the first thing i'm going to do to it.

Welcome! A Comp Orange Gt is a rare color combo for sure!

The back window of that car has bubbled right around where the defroster attaches to the window, which is the same place you see bubbled on my car and a number of other mustangs. I guess it was a hard area for tinters to get around? The drivers side is likely only an issue because the people who tinted the windows used two layers of film on the side windows. The extra thickness was rubbing that rubber piece and the second layer is the one that is peeling.

We just happen to have a new sponsor that does tint.

Yes, good point Jeff. I may even take the Mach there and see what they can do about my rear window one of these days.

I think I'll do that... when I can afford to after I stop breaking/bending/and frying things.

Got word from the parents. It's not looking good. Unless I can find a second job, it's not going to happen. I just don't make enough money a month to do insurance.

So if anyone is hiring, let me know, because I could really use the money.

Ahh come on it can't be worse than my carnage this year.

Nope, right now I'm only at having thrown a built rear end in the car, bent the caliper to axle housing brackets, and fried a clutch at the very least. Not quite as bad as your carnage, though money is only so plentiful when you're a full time college student still paying for your car and getting bent over for insurance.

You know i want to, I just need a second job, Fry's is barely giving me 15 hours a week. Usually sundays fridays and saturdays.

So the rest of the week I'm doing nothing, earning nothing.

Yeah, its a definite no. Unless I get a better job. I'm doing an internship at thoroughbred chevy, so if that works out theres my second job. If not, then I need to look for a better job.

So its not looking good as of now.

Hmm.... that poor college student thing sounds familiar! You could always pick up a fox body cheap and chill with that for a while until you can make better money. That's basically my thing right now.... and I get 23mpg :icon_cool:

Shoot me a PM. I sell insurance in AZ. Might get it cheaper so you can pick up that GT. Or pickup my Roush:biglaugh:

I appreciate the offer, but I doubt my parents want to switch insurance people since we've had this guy for like 10 years.
