LMAO! Keith your priceless...Hey man sorry again about not bringing the hoist back in a timely fashion. We were kinda on a timely basis so they could only help work on it when they got out of class so that's why it took so long. I appreciate you letting me use it though.

motor looks fine to me....coolant is in the cylinder because you pulled the heads off.... So now why does it not run? .....no power steering and no brakes? why?

Well yeah the only thing that was really wrong with it was the intake manifold leaking and the head gasket. But in the process of putting it back together the power steering is ****ed up, and I have no idea why the brakes aren't working. The power steering pulley shakes quite a bit while idling too...found out when I got home one of the hoses was loose but theres no way to hook it back onto the manifold because the nipple broke off..Just tired of dealing with this car and need something for a good DD and wont decide to leak everywhere.

Thanks man yeah Im going to have to start lookin at cars I might want to get to replace her with. Mainly now I want to get a Mach 1, but I also might get a foxbody or maybe even like an 04 GTO or something...but regardless I'll probably part out the saleens, the exhaust, and the shifter but I will keep you all updated on what I go ahead and do.

I really really REALLY want a Termi but they are just still too expensive, I mean if I could find one for like $19,000 or something then I might be able to pull it off but I can't afford one unfortunatley. GTO's are going for soo cheap right now I just saw one for like $16k and it was a 6 speed with like 30K miles. But if you see any dirt cheap cobras let me know!

03-08-08, 02:13 PM
You can find a terminator for 19 or so. It may have 60k+ miles and may have to take a road trip to get it but you can find one for that.
OH3MGSVT
03-08-08, 02:26 PM
Well yeah probably but that is a lot of miles for a supercharged mod motor. I don't want to run into the same problem a couple months down the road and have a hurt car and not be able to drive anywhere. I would rather have a reasonably priced mach or 99/01 cobra or something of that nature with pretty low miles so it will last me a while

If you are serious about looking for mach's, check out the for sale section of the Mach 1 Registry. You will find many for sale there in good condition and reasonably priced. Just expect to have to drive.
...well, never mind that...I just saw that you made a post over there. :woot1:

lol damn it ruckus...yeah that is true about the f bodies. But I just found out today that my dad's friend knows a mechanic that does good work and can get it back to the way it was running and let me make payments on it! which would come in handy. Also They could also put in a new crate motor if I wanted and again make payments on it...do I smell a 4v swap coming?
