Penis???????:shhh:
they will be stock 1998 gt heads. they will not be ported because i dont believe in porting.... i am going to put really stiff valve springs though.... i am also going to clean the heads with soap and water before installing them.... i might try to open up the ports a little bit with some sand paper....

At least use PI heads.

I don't get it:confused:

At least use PI heads.
So you want to go from 4v to 2v ? why...and then you want to go to a 98 style non pi head?

how is it anitperformance... there will be less hp loss, due to having only half the valves... that eliminates parasitic loss by 50%, so i believe that i will probably gain a good 70 rwhp, because the crank doesn't have to turn the extra valves. also, i decided to go with non pi, because i heard that the pi heads crack, with over 6lbs of boost....

dude i think that you should also use the 7.5 as to the 8.8 due to weight reduction

mfj

exactly what i was thinking!! less rotational mass, also... i am switching to a v6 flywheel and clutch assembly. im just trying to reduce every ounce of rotational mass that i can eliminate.... possibly destroking my rods and crank to make my total displacement to 4.4L. im just trying to get all the hp that i can out of this engine...

Don't forget to get the fuel pump for a V6, you'll need all that extra fuel...

An LT1 would have been the better buy.

yeah..... TPI is sounding pretty damn attractive right now!!!:woot1:

or better yet a 231 odd fire talk about weight reduction

OK cant help it, Didn't know Ford made a ohc cast iron head, besides the point. I thought weight was the goal and why don't you believe in port job?
what are you going to do with sandpaper, good luck! Maybe just put pull the steering wheel out and seats that will save ya some weight or just buy a Honda.

well i was thinking of eliminatin my whole braking system, to save some weight, and then just installing reverse thrusters to slow down instead... but i found out that those reverse thrusters are going to weight more than my whole braking system, sooo i guess i'll just opt for a parachute...

so i got quite a bit of money to spend so here's my list so far:

cast iron non pi heads- $1000
sand paper- $10
brake delete- $60
soap and water- $1
7.5" rear end swap- $1200
v6 flywheel and clutch assembly w/ labor-$800

so that all adds up to $3071

and the possible tpi engine will cost me about another $4000

dang, i know im spending a lot, but in the end, it will all be worth it!

IM SOO EXCITED!!

I think you should just give me your front bumper cover. I wan one bad! Think about the weight reduction!!! :biglaugh:

Reverse Thrusters FTW!! If you just get rid of the motor totally and just install a Flux Capacitor which sends power to the Diode Rectifier I think you gain at least 70rwp. Not to mention it wieghs about 60% less.
