...makes me wish I had a nice SLR camera. Not really sure why I was up early enough to watch the sunrise, I probably coulda made the drive to Tuscon.

Hey, the supercharger whine from your car is very pronounced at highway speeds when you punch it, sounds really good. The drive home was too quiet after you guys made your exits. Great fun:woot2:.

Actually, I woke up at 5:15 for no real reason but I was still too tired to make the Tucson drive.

That intake may not have given me a lot more power but it made a huge difference in the wailing sound. Your's sounded pretty sweet too and the exhaust was pretty decent when you got on it. That was a cool drive back down 101, I really enjoyed it.

yes the drive there and back was awesome! and i caught the sunrise this morning too on my way to berge. the only thing that scared me on the drive home was seeing that 65 almost get taken out. stupid passat driver!

It was me Hank. I wasn't sure if it was a Jetta or a Passat. I just know I'm starting to think I have magnets on that car. How come I'm always the one driving when some psycho decides to come at me. Thank goodness the rest of the drive was uneventful. Two restorations within a year is already enough. Next time I'll drive the '06 or my Harley truck. I would hate for someone to hit me again. I might just wind up in Florence myself. This one wouldn't have been a rear end collision, so I would have been able to get to the tire iron this time. I'm still not sure what I would have done the last time if I had been able to get it out of the smashed trunk! I think Steve might have beat me to it this time though. He was freakin' out.
