Well, I am happy to have landed on another CMC in my new neighborhood...

I am originally from Chicago and the treasurer and one of the admins over at www.chicagolandmustang.com (http://www.chicagolandmustang.com), my Cobra is still resting in a garage out there waiting for the whipple install/tune and I travel back there about once per month...

In the meantime I was going to hunt down some local people and events for when I transport "Demon" here.

I have a pretty decent list of mods already, some included in the sig and some in boxes awaiting install back in Chicago... I call it the Cobra 2.0 project as I am going in a direction I would assume SVT would go if cost was no object...

Mods not listed in sig:

Catted Pro-Chamber + Magnapacks = Best sound EVER
Fluidyne High Performance Radiator
NAPA 180 Degree Thermostat
Evans Cooling High-Flow Water Pump
Evans Cooling NPG+
Canton Battery Box Intercooler Res
Steeda Black Powdercoated Battery Relocation
BBK Polished Intake
Custom fabricated dual Ford GT Fuel System / Dual FPDMs

Ambient engine bay temps are rediculously low and allow for almost flat-palm to valve cover after hotlaps = more timing = lower AIT = more power

Mods not installed

2.3L Polished Whipple @ 18psi
Reichard Racing Pulley
Killer-Chiller Active Intercooler System (Lightning Concept R134/AC Intercooler bypass modification) / drops IC coolant temps to sub 40 degrees.
Liberty Gear 26 Spline Input Shaft
LDC Cooling Mod
Aeromotive Fuel System
60lb Siemens-Deka Injectors
91/93/E85 Tunes

My goal is extreme efficiency and maximum power while staying on 93 Octane (well, 91+Torco or equiv)

Happy Halloween (yes that's my real plate)

Just looking to wipe the street with some of the zillions of pesty Porsche owners who think they're hot shit and make some SL55/SL65 owners re-think their investment strategy...

Oh, and the bumper is custom painted three-four shades darker using Redfire as a base and adding a bit of black, but with the same metallic as the rest of the car.

Great car. Are you from Wayne, IL, McHenry County correct? I grew up in Wheeling if you're familiar with that area.

Actually Wayne is still DuPage, i think.

I lived just east of Wayne in Carol Stream and still have a place there for when I go back and forth. Regretfully, the Cobra is still there too... A nice heated garage, but need to finish off the mods to finally transport it here...

Small world... it's amazing how many people I've met here from Chicagoland!

I'm looking forward to crashing one of the meets with my rice in the meantime... :sticktonge:

Thanks for the warm welcome... I look forward to any upcoming functions!!!

Welcome to HPS!!!! It's always nice to meet another fellow Chicagoian! I lived in Barrington and moved to AZ in 1997. Hope to see you around at some Mustang gatherings!
