After loosing to a cammed LS1 and a CTS-V(both friend of mines), I gave up all hopes on this 306, even if I Supercharge it......So this is my new plan is to sell my engine and tranny with heads, cam carb and intake, and just keep my accersories, and buy a 408(351W), and slap some 225cc heads, then call to get a custom grind cam to what I want out of my car.
This is what Im thinking, I want aroung 450 RWHP and RWTQ. If I can get more thats great. I want something that is some what streetable, I want a high revving cam, something to rev up to 7k(just for bragging rights), and a 150 or 200 shot of N20, and slap on a Viper Spec t-56
What you guys think?
What do you guys think I can sell my longblock and tranny for?

i have $10 for the engine
Insteada throwing money at the car, I'd try and make what you have work.
Are you goals on motor alone?
I think this is one of the funniest things i have read in awhile....
"something to rev up to 7k(just for bragging rights)"
I'm a believer of bigger is not always better.
i say put in a 4.0 v6 out of a new mustang and turbo it
jk
u can build the 306 to be a monster, 408 is just gettin crazy
Take it to the track and see what it really runs.
A 600 rwhp car can lose to a 300rwhp car just by driver or setup on car alone. Do your homework and spanking your friends around with your current setup with some tweaks is easily possible. If you want to win by a mile then by all means go with a 408. More power means more breakdowns though. Trust me on this one.

My insurance is about 110 a month.
I like being one of those 32v boys. There can only be about 24k of us vs. a couple hundred thousand. :pinkthumb:

best looking stang with one of the best pushrod motors. Car would still be light with good power. Add a little shot and well you got yourself a monster.
