damn, so far I have 6 runs under my belt, I spun a little last week on both runs , 13.6 best time so far, RT was like .640 so I have to work on that, 2.20 60ft have to work on that !!. I think I will hook better if I do a dry burn out, hopefully pick up at least another 3 tenths. I was about to do nitrous but it got so expensive I said screw it (as in twin screw !!), selling it all and getting a SC, probably Whipple or Kenne Bell.

Any opinions, recommendations ?

well unfortunately I have spent good money on LT headers, X-pipe w/cats, etc... got my exhaust sound exactly where I want it, everyone who hears it says its the best period they have heard !!

so don't want to mess all of that up !!

turbos are nice but a twin screw fits my needs more better

When are you gonna crank that boost controller up so you can get into the low 10's?

well someone has a Saleen on eBay for a great price, only the basic kit but with some work (upgrade kit) I have heard a Saleen can get the job done as well as the others, I don't want to get into the 10s, high 11s would be nice, no roll cage, etc...

this is my daily driver after all (only 11K miles and still paying for it) !! lol

I was planning on going out there tomorrow, its like 60 miles for me but if I want to run during the daytime, Firebird only has night time events, I will make the trip. How many people usually show up ? Alot of S197s ? I am only running mid 13s so not sure if I will embarrass myself out there!! Of course I only got like $2500 in the car so far, thats peanuts !! lol

should be a good crowd, but definetly not overloaded with people. not sure on the s197 stangs, but should be a good crowd. don't worry about your times, its all about having a good time with your car. and getting that speed fix in!

btw- roger that on the money in it, i wish i could say i have only spent that much!!!

WELCOME, you are in the right place to find other local stang lovers and all around good people.

I remember watching that run, we (PSR crew & friends) were at Firebird that weekend too. That was the weekend I ran 11.85 @ Firebird.

As far as the blower I would go with a WHIPPLE, I have had the chance to install most of the blower kits on the new stangs and the whipple fits and performs better then the rest, IMHO.
