Anyone see the article in the new MM&FF mag on the 03 Terminator with a turbo feeding into the blower? Is this a grenade waiting to happen or is it a new option? It did put down crazy, probably undrivable power.
ive seen a terminator like that before, but the blower was emtpy (just for looks).

They had a stock pulley on this one with twin 66mm turbos. 27 psi on the turbos and 44 lbs in the mainfold on a more or less stock motor.
edit: see below post. nevermind. i guess it doesnt work the way i thought

they were making some crazy numbers in the article. sounds like its working to me. i love the idea. i would do turbos that way. then i can keep it supercharger. something about compound power adders just sounds sexy. :woot1:
nevermind, lookin into it and talkin to shane. it doenst work they way i thought. it doesnt directly add up. i dunno he will explain maybe lol
I have become very suspect of MM&FF numbers. I read an article about a chick in a Roush GT running low 10's I think with 430rwhp... To say I nearly jumped off the toilet to call BS was an understatement.

Tractor pull guys have been doing this for years. Usually 3 turbo's ar used where the first 2 will feed the inlet of the third.

Why BS??? That is realistic with the correct suspension setup. My buddy's 93 GT makes 367 RWHP and has run a best of 10.604 @ 125.22.

Dude what does that thing weigh? 1000lbs? I Still call BS

2,825# with driver. NO NOS!!! H/C/I on a untouched factory stock bottom end. He has documented all of his Dyno runs on steelcitystangs.com.
Here's a couple of his video's from the trip to Cecil a few weeks ago:
YouTube - 10 sec stock short block (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NctjyB4Ja7k)
YouTube - Stocker (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3PZO4eWNIo)
And a great pic of his car leaving!

Here's his last dyno session:
Video of N/A stock 302 short block H/C/I - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting (http://s240.photobucket.com/albums/ff255/Pure_Stock/?action=view¤t=PureStockonthedyno.flv)
Stock N/A aspirated 302 short block. Static compression is a kill the torque 9.0:1. A pair of Fox Lake ported Twisted Wedge cylinders heads are bolted on top of the circa 1993 short block. A hydraulic roller cam carefully selected to work with the non-flycut hypereutectic slugs keeps the valve events just so. A long runner EFI Holley SMII feeds the TFS's the atmospheric intake charge.
A battery of combinations and small tweaks were employed throughout the 17 dyno pulls. The highest peak numbers were generated on the final pull.
374.3 RWHP and 362 TQ were produced
His car is also featured on Fox Lake's website:
