Well, pulled the IRS today...

Because one of the bolts on the differential mount was sheered off, and the other one just kind of dangling. I had the aftermarket diff brace installed a few months after I got the car (didn't want to do that one myself just yet), and the shop that installed it didn't use any kind of locktite whatsoever. I'm not going to name names, but I won't be going back there again. One of many problems this shop has had recently with my friend's cobra.

So while the IRS is out, time for some long overdue upgrades. I need to order some bushings, lowering springs, wheel spacers, a new diff cover and a new diff mount. Can anyone recommend any kits/deals right now?

My Mustang asks much of me, as well as she should because I ask much of her. Took a nice strip of skin from me which was still hanging from the IRS afterwards. No biggie, still love her.

PM sent. If you've got it all out, might as well swap every bushing you can. Looks like you might need a new rear cover, looking that that elongated hole.

Well, if I can find an aftermarket one that doesn't cost 200 bucks I will let you have it. If you didn't notice one of the welded nuts is gone. If I can't then, I will have to weld another one on and re-use it. Blah! I need your help tonight picking out some parts!!

I have one (rear cover) new in the box if you need it 140.00 new right from ford they list for 202.53
