The weather was not cooperating. There were some good size storm cells dancing around in the far west valley last night and radar had them very close to the Speedworld location.

Just our luck we would drive all that way, pay admission, and fuel up, just in time for it to rain and the track to close down. "No Thanks"

There are going to be plenty of better nights in the near future to try it again and maybe not so HOT...

Went out with a freind and his 04 Mach 1. Never saw any rain. He got 7 runs in and we left at 11:30. Had about an hour down time because someones car puked it's tranny on the top end. There might have been 25 cars running.

His first and best run was only a 13.80 at 94 mph with a 1.90 60'. He didn't know where the finish line was, so he ended up letting off early :sticktonge: After that his foot was a little heavy and never could get back into the 1.9's on the 60 or the 13's. He was burning the tires up on the launch. He did get his mph back up to 104 mph on the last run, still in the 14's though. His first time to the drags in 15 years.
