I found a great deal on a set of 15X8 Weld Draglites with some ET Street Radials mounted. The Welds have 4.5" of backspacing. I was just wondering how well this setup will fit on the car. The ET Streets are like 26X10.

Also I have a built rear with GT brakes so no worries there.

sweet. now that i think about it though, i actually run a 15x10, but same backspacing. so 2" narrower will not hurt anything....

Well I went ahead and got the wheels and tires. It was an awesome deal. I paid $220 for the set of 15X8 Weld Draglites with centercaps, and M/T ET Streets. :woot2: The rims are in great condition and there is still tons of tread left. I'll post up pics later. The only problem was he only had 7 lug nuts and washers. Where's the best place to pick up 3 more lugs and washers?

Yeah I can still run a 275/50R15 ET Street on these 8" rims, which is like 11.5" wide. That should be more than plenty for me.

i think lopers would be the place for the lug nuts....

its just under an 11" tire. but you will probably only have a contact area of 9.8-10" because of the narrow rim.

For 220bucks it isnt bad deal, but the 4.5 backspacing is all wrong. You want 5.5 backspacing....you may need to grind on the banjo and caliper. My weld was rubbing on both sides on the Mach1.

Also them tires are almost done. Once they become bald, look for signs of cords to start showing up. You can still make a pass or two if you dont have any tires and they still 60' ok with cords showing. .. but not recommended.

btw: carefull on the return road. If the tires pick up enough rocks, due to the wrong offset, you will hear rocks hitting the roof and for sure u will have little chips on the outside of the fender.
