This is TOO good!
5 million of our older Americans have not signed up yet for their
Medicare, Part D, drug plan------they are old and confused.
We are NOT going to grant them an extension.
However, 12 million illegal aliens are in our country and we are
going to allow them to stay, protest, procreate, receive support
monies, attend schools, avoid paying income taxes, have our
teachers take 300 hours of ESL(English as a Second Language)
training at our expense, etc.
WE MUST REALLY DISLIKE OUR OLD PEOPLE......
OR WE MUST REALLY LOVE TACOS!!!
If it ticks you off, pass it on!!
Don't forget to pay your taxes......
12 million illegal aliens are depending on you!

So True!!!!
teachers aren't required to take 300 hours of ESL training. They are required to take 60-90 hours, equivelant to 4-6 classes of ESL, not based on illegal immigrants but based on those whose english is a second language. Not only that but it is not at the tax payers expense, but at either district's or at the teacher's expense. There have been no extra allocation of money allowed for the ESL training on behalf of the state. All trainings and/or classes actually allow for the teacher to advance up the pay scale at their schools.

specialists. thats for an emphasis in ESL. Not for basic teacher certification.
http://www.ade.state.az.us/certification/SEIFacts.pdf
Full SEI Endorsement:
Within three years of obtaining the Provisional SEI Endorsement, all persons holding a valid Elementary, Secondary,
Supervisor, Career and Technical Education, and Special Education Arizona State Certificate must complete an additional
semester hours of SEI completion training
to apply for their Full SEI Endorsement. (Mandated R7-2-613 J.1.)
As for pa, its required for teachers who are specifically teaching in ESL programs, not for full teacher certification like it is in AZ.

If she's in the teacher program, they already have a SEI endorsed class that she has to take as part of her program. that will give her the provisional and when she's placed at a school, they will follow up by either offering her classes through the district or asking her to take some via a program at a local community college.
It should be BLE 312 which is actually a prerequisite to get into the college of education. It also works to fullfill the liberal studies requirements...

Bottom line, Trish might have been wrong about the ESL program. But all of the other statistics are solid after doing some research.
An estimated 12 million illegal aliens are in our country. The government lets them stay, protest, procreate, receive support monies, attend schools, avoid paying income taxes, sign up their children that we born here illegally for welfare, wic, foodstamps, and are granted citizenship.
I'm not racist in anyway. My father in-law is a 2nd genereration mexican-american. His father migrated here legally.

Arizona school districts are not non-profit lol! They are funded by local property taxes, and state taxes.
