Hey now, how else you expect them to change the tires on the Big Brown Truck in under 14 seconds? Dale doesn't have all day to spend in the pits!

D'Agostino racing. They said I have to file a claim with ups. I used my own ups account number, so its not their fault.

In my experience, the shipper has always been the one that had to file the claim since they are the one that paid for the service. Now if you had it billed to your own UPS account, that's a different stroy. Bottom line is whoever paid for the service is the person they will refund the insurance money to.

D'Agostino racing. They said I have to file a claim and cant do anything on thier end since its not their mistake. My company would ship out another package free of charge and then deal with UPS. Its all about customer service, I'm kind of dissapointed with them right now.

Did you talk to Derek directly or one of his staff?

I paid for the service using my company's UPS account number. Shitty thing is, they didn't ask me if I wanted to insure them. We insure everything, so I didnt even think to ask. Bottom line, I do a shit pot full of money with UPS and if they dont get me my money I'l tell them to pound sand and fire up the ol' fed-ex account. For all you business owners out there, it's always wise to have both working (or stealing) from you. If UPS decides to take another strike, you always use your fed-ex account to ship out your shit. This is in no way bashing D'Agostino racing, I just posted pics of the carnage that UPS left with me. Since I used my account number, I have to deal with it. I also used my Visa, so i can get them involved too if UPS wants to be dicks about ti.

You will get your money. UPS is usually good with claims and credit card companies are good to the customers when disputes arise.

I know, I just wanted these bad boys on without all the bullshit. I'm going to the track as soon as I get them on. I've been itching to race, but refuse to on the bfg's ethan so nicely cut for me. Since then, I have rolled my fenders. I figure he's not going to change and will probably end up sitting back there in the future LOL!

Then put some 26x11.5x17 Et Streets on the ride. I am going to put a set on my spare set of stock rims and give them a try. The 16's hooked well. I am sure the 17's will do good. I get tired of changing tires at the track also.

The are the very last set at the bottom

The 17's don't require a tube.

Not a daily driver tire, but good for to and from the track.

I pulled 1.59 60ft on the 16" Et Streets with 14.5 PSI.

yes they do work good. it used to bog my motor hard with my 3.90s if i didnt lanch the car at 5500 or more. i used to cut 1.6s and 1.7s with out even trying to cut a good time. but it does sway a bit on the top end and freeway:laughing:

I would run them with about 13-15psi. I think 15psi was best for me. they are good tires for 17s, atually i think they are the best for 17s.

The ugly diamonds are great. LOL

I get tired of changing tires at the track.

I don't think I can pull much better than a high 1.5 on the stock IRS. So if I can do it on a 17" ET Street that would be great.

No if I can just stop killing clutches I would be fine.

Twin Disk or Spec 5 going in next.

Will either of those tires fit on the stock 17 rim without any kind of clearance issues? Im looking for a set of track tires since I have 2 extra stock rims. Out of the two, which one would you guys recommend considering I might drive them a little on the street?

I may do a twin disc or spec 5 next.

LOL...i thought my bogs where considered bad!!! urs is HORRID!!! :sticktonge:

I didnt even hear u rev the motor.

But I am 100% with you, that I personally need 6k plus RPM revs before I slip my clutch.

This is considered bad for me....little slow with my left foot on 3rd to 4th.

Only on the Mach1. The swayyyyeehhhhhhhh!!! on the Termee is too much for me. Almost crossed the center lane...big no no! So I said, Eff It. Run my M/T DR's and funny thing was the stock clutch couldnt handle it.

I liked the fact that I could drive the M/T DR's on the street, lower the pressure a bit and make a few passes. Last as long as the bias ply too!!!!

Well, if not driving on the street.

Sad deal is that it needs Good Prep or a few big fat tired cars to run before me so that I could follow their foot print at the launch. I couldnt care less what they did after the 60' marker. :pinkthumb:

I too switched to ET STREET RADIALS but i didnt like them for the track. I would have to do a long burnout to get them to hook and that just kills th etread on them. IMO the ET STREETS are much better for the track, DR for the street.

LOL your right my bogs are nasty, but I never cut a 1.79 or slower 60#:woot1:

Bias Ply version can handle the little to almost NON prep tracks far better than the DR's, but if you do have an event with serious prep...a long burnout actually makes the bog worse / learned the hard way.

I still cant beat the 1.56 short time of the DR's....The Bias Ply tires requires a seriously fast release of the clutch which I want to avoid.
