Looks good Tony.
How does it ride with the new setup?

not suprisingly, it picks up like crazy, and holds traction very well. it does kinda feel like a cadillac going around corners, and its rather squishy (sorry could not come up with a better term), i think i will probably hook the sway bar up for the street, but otherwise, not too bad. just gotta get use to the front end stayin up a little longer. definetly not the setup for taking sharp turns. lol.

Are the coilovers adjustable?

as in ride height? yes. rebound on the shocks...no.

Drag set up, corner carver set up or compromise. None of the three works perfectly for everything. We all have to set up our cars according to our own needs. Lowering the car is one of the few items that will help both acceleration and cornering. It's a good mod.

Nice write up and pics. :pinkthumb:

Looks Great. What are the springs rated at??

AZSonicSnake

believe they are 175....gene can correct me if i am wrong.

and totally agreed, in my mind it either drag car or corner carver. i know there can be a nice blend of both, but i am more inclined to drag race, since i believe i lack the co-ordination to road course race.

Looks good, now you don't have any reason to go slower then 11.99. :biglaugh:

How tall are those springs? 14"

Have any issues of bottom the struts or the springs on bumps?

Mine only bottoms out the springs if there a bump on a turn.

they are the 14" springs. i have not had any issues, but then again, have not driven it too far.

and yes, has a slight push in the corners. lol...

and indy- yea, kinda eliminates any excuses...lol...

yup. i have a severe lack of control when it comes to modding a car. thus why i decided a mustang was a good way to go. as the options are limitless.

How is the road feel with these Lakewoods?

Find that the Tokico Adj. Drag Struts are pretty harsh if I am set at the lowest setting. I mean, I can FEEL every crack and bump on the steering wheel harsh.

honeslty, it felt like a big ol boat. lots of cushion allmost. felt weird.

LOL...guess i will wait till you make a pass down the strip and check for the results before making plans of switching to them.

i will most definetly let you know. i can only imagine it will help a ton, as when you jump on it, it stays in the air like crazy. :woot1:

Thanks... So you really dont feel the suspension bottoming or hitting anything on hard bumps?

I may have to really get this set if you dont. the Tokico Drag Struts are less then desirable right now.

i drove it around some this weekend and did not feel any bottoming out. it makes a little clicking when getting in the driveway, but i assume this is from the collars shifting on the shock body. and its not too loud anyways, just that i notice it.

oh, and i will be hooking the sway bar back up for city driving. i had to make a manuver when some jackass pulled out infront of me, and it made for a fun time.

oh, and i was not hor roddin it. was just driving normally. and some made a right turn and wnet across three lanes to the lane i was in...yipes.

LOL....yeah the fast turns on the steering inst friendly.

Nah, i got issues with just street driving it..... I raised the coil overs quarter of an inch...see if that makes any difference for me.

U ever going to do a tubular K?
