GLobe Show & Shine

On March 23-24 the Globe Firefighters put on a great show & shine. On Friday night the firefighters put on a burger burn for the entrants followed by a cruise to Sonic for a free hot fudge sundae and some showing off. Saturday morning the Firefighters provide a pancake and sausage breakfast at the firehouse which was the center of the show. About 200 cars lined the main streets. The Firefighters again provided lunch for the entrants before the awards were handed out. I counted only 6 Mustangs in the show including my son and me. Those 6 Mustangs accounted for 4 awards, not bad. The people of Globe were great and even had a cruise route set up through downtown during the show so you could pull out and cruise when you got the urge. It would be great to see a lot more CMC cars there next year.
