For those of you that own and operate a small business. What programs do you use to track spending and your money. Also what do you use for your taxes. I was looking into buying Quicken or Money. I also need a way track what I have in my inventory. Thanks guys!

Also who do you guys use for your merchant services. I am needing to get a visa terminal? I work for Bank of America and have already talked to them. They were too pricy for me.

We use Quickbooks, too. Don't really like it but our accountant uses it so we have it so we can transfer files directly to her.

X2! Quickbooks in my opinion is a better choice than Microsoft Money.

Are you guys using Pro Edition?

Also can it track my inventory? That is the biggest thing I need. When I get a shipment in I want to be able to input in in the computer then when it sells it is taken out automatically.

I use Quickbooks pro 2007. However I dont keep an inventory. Quickbooks does however have inventory tracking.

When I had a store, I used Microbiz Retail controller. Very easy to use and it worked with an inexpensice bar code reader for fast checkout.

we have quickbooks pro and i wouldn't trade it for anything. it will do everything you need...including inventory incoming and outgoing. it is really good...we run both companies off it.
