Army weekend

So here are a few pics of my army weekend. Sounds like I didn't miss much at the track. We shot about 30+ rounds out of our 155mm Howitzer. Shot a few LUM rounds and some smokes. Fun stuff, its been about 3 years since we've shot (due to our last deployment as provisional MP's). I forgot how earth shaking that sound was.

I to, use to be a gun bunny. I fired 8 inch self perpelled howitzer in German for 3 years. Hated the cold but love to fire that Big gun.:woot2:

Boy, you two Red Leggs are bringing back some memories. I was with an 8 Inch unit at Rivers Barracks in Giessen 84-86. A bunch of crazy SOB's. Just gotta love 30 days in Graff.

Anyway, the day at the track wasn't too bad. Got some good runs in between all the bull$#@&.

We train out in Florence. Not sure where that is in relation to gold canyon, but its quite possible! We left at about 10am Friday, and came back 9am Sunday.

Yup you did!! Gold Canyon is just east of A.J. Couldn't pick you ot of all the equipment!!! You guys all look the same behind the wheel!!!! Ha!!:yes:
