How much would you be willing to pay to participate in a track rental?

Last year I got a quote from firebird of $4500.
A few weeks ago they quoted $7,500. Inflations sucks. LOL
Speedworld quoted $3,500 last year.
I have to get a new quote.

How about anyone with a Ford rental, but we could go outside of Fords to attain the 100 cars I would like to get.

That wouldnt be to bad. Just as long as there isnt a lot fwd cars dragging water all over the track.

Have you thought about combining with SVTOA for track day. Most of the SVTOA group likes the twisties but Ford covers the insurance for track events if at least 50% of the vehicles are Ford products. That will save a bunch. We (SVTOA/Ford Performance) rented Firebird's west course last year and we plan on doing it again this year. But getting a drag day would be a blast. I'd take turns running the Lightning and the Cobra. Would I get thrown out for exceeding the 11.5 rule without a cage in a private track day?

Well being the SVTOA rep is now tied to Copperstate I think we have a bright future. We are looking at an event tied to the Fall Copperstate Show.
As far as club day. They tend to be a littler more relaxed on the rules.
How much faster than 11.5 do you plan on going?
