I didn't see a thread on this on HPS so I thought I'd spread the word. Tonight is the Carroll Shelby Tribute, and the Phoenix area location to meet is Barrett Jackson's corporate headquarters. It would be great to have a huge turnout for this event. I emailed them last night and spots were still available. Here's the info on the location and schedule, along with the press release:

Barrett-Jackson will be hosting a "Rev Your Engine" event on 5/30 at their corporate offices: 7400 East Monte Cristo Ave, Scottsdale AZ 85260

Webcast and “Rev Your Shelby” Salute To Reach Shelby Admirers Worldwide

Team Shelby (http://www.teamshelby.com) – Shelby American, Inc., a division of Carroll Shelby International, and the Carroll Shelby Foundation, have announced that the Carroll Shelby Tribute Celebration, being held at 6 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, May 30th at the Petersen Automotive Museum, will be broadcast live worldwide via a free webcast. In addition to viewing this ceremony via webcast, enthusiasts are encouraged to join Shelby owners around the world in a “Rev Your Engine” salute to the life of an American icon, and friend, Carroll Shelby.

“We’re so excited to share this farewell tribute of an American Legend with all of the Shelby and automotive fans around the world,” said Jenni Shreeves, director of the Carroll Shelby Foundation. “Carroll genuinely valued the people who admired and owned his cars. Giving them a chance to be a part of this tribute is truly what he wanted”.

The live webcast will begin at 6 PM, Pacific Daylight Time on Wednesday, May 30. Pre-ceremony video coverage will begin at 6 p.m. PDT and the memorial will start at approximately 7 p.m. Webcast links will be available on www.CSCF.org (http://www.CSCF.org), www.shelbynation.com (http://www.shelbynation.com), www.teamshelby.com (http://www.teamshelby.com) and www.shelbyamerican.com (http://www.shelbyamerican.com).

Well the event turned out to be a blast! The Barrett people put on a great venue for the tribute broadcast, along with food and drinks. Some really nice cars showed up and it was nice to meet most of the people there. They even took a pretty nice photo of some of the cars:
