Well, I just arrived in town and my car breaks down. Apparantly when I had the plugs changed last fall cyl 8 was over torqued and blew out today. I stumbled on Masterwerks @ 19th Ave and Deer Valley rd. They attempted a helicoil but can't do it as he said it's too badly stripped out and will likely need to remove the head and have it machined.

What's a good shop around here that is knowledgeable in Fords that can do this kind of work. I will be honest, seeing as this problem was caused by a shop back in ohio and I've had trouble with shops recently I'm a little paranoid about anyone touching my car. I don't even know what I'm going to do with the car but either way I want to get in with a good shop as I live here in Phoenix now.

TIA, Ben

That sucks Ben! :icon_sad:
I haven't had any machine work done since I've been in AZ so I can't offer any recommendations... Sorry!

^Will look them up, thanx. It certainly could have been worse and broken down in New Mexico or something, it did it just as I came into town. Now I just have to figure out where to store the car safely for a while until I can figure out what I'm going to do.
