Recommendation on lowering springs

Now that I have 20" wheels on my GT, It looks like I need to go ahead and lower it.
I am thinking 1" in front and 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" in rear.
At this point, I just want to do springs.
Looking for ones that will drop it without making the ride too harsh...
Thoughts???

Ford Racing springs are a progressive spring. Not harsh, mine dropped about 1.25 Check around for prices,Vendors on this site,Late Model Restoration, American Muscle,etc..

I haven't priced the ford ones... I was looking at ones from Steeda and Roush today.

Stage 3 is who I am dealing with. They have been pretty good to me so far!
How do you like the ride with the Roush springs?

its stiffer than the stock springs, thats for sure.. so with them and the skinny 20's, you can feel most every bump in the road.. but at 90... who cares:awsome:

LOL Sounds par for the course.
I thought there would be a big difference in feeling the bumps going from the 17's to the 20's but it didn't seem to bad. Of course I only was out for about a 15 min ride on saturday.

i didnt notice that much of a diffrence going from 17-20 either.. just in REALLY rough roads or some of the freeway "patches"

Update... I finally got the Roush lowering springs on! When I got done I was like "Did it even lower it?"... But I had measured the fender height before and after so I do know it dropped an inch all around. It may not be as low as some people like theirs but I like it.

It looks like the CS bumper which is what i am looking to replace mine with...

That's the California Special accessory Facia. This accessory version gives you the cover and all the hardware for cheaper the the production version.

Well I ended up going with the CS rear bumper and painting the lower center section matte black and repainting the whole car the factory color. Looks much better with the deeper clear than factory. Still needing to have her cut and final buff though.
