View Full Version : Got my Cobra bumper on

Decided to add a Cobra bumper to the GT. My GT bumper was badly sun damaged and in need of paint so I thought I would just put a Cobra bumper on. Plus it opens up the front a little more for more air and now I can put fogs back in. Got this off eBay already painted and the paint matches perfectly.

Still need bezels, fogs and the grill which I should have next week.

did you buy the bumper from a company that sells them pre-painted? I still need a front bumper for mine in silver.

Yes I got it through eBay. Cost $300 painted and shipped. The only downside is that it takes almost 3 weeks to get. Overall I am very happy with it. Paint match was dead on and it fits like a glove. You just need to provide them the paint code. It does not come with the fender hardware so you will either need to buy that or use what is on the car now. It does not come with bezels, fogs or the lower splitter. All that stuff can be had through Late Model Restoration. Here is the site.

Damn that looks good scooter!! I love your car btw, saw it at extreme a few times, I have the Mineral Gray 03 Cobra dont know if you remember me or not. Badass stang for sure, My cobra bumper fits less than perfect on my car I might have to see about getting one through them!

Nice looking car, been wanting that bumper for mine for a while now as not only does it look better but more airflow and you can have fogs and run brake ducts.
