So on Friday I got pre-approved for a my first house :pepper: I was wondering since I am a first time home buyer if anyone has some good ideas of locations to look at? I work off of 23rd ave and Deer Valley Rd so the close the better for me. FWIW I was pre-approved up to $130k. Also any other tips/suggestions are appreciated.

Get a good home inspection. The newer the AC units the better.

(http://phoenixmultiplelistingservice.com/)start the search!

If you are pre-approved you might want to look into some short sales/foreclosures. Find some properties you are interested in and attend the auction. see what they are selling for. Quite an experience.

Have you asked them about first time home buyer credits? Tax rebates?

Congrats! Thats exciting! If you dont currently have an agent let me know, I do real estate on the side and love helping first time homebuyers, I can walk you through everything step by step. Even if you do have an agent you can always contact me if you have questions. I know some agents dont realize how first time homebuyers arent familiar with the whole process. I could even set you up to receive listings in any area of the valley. Shoot me a PM or feel free to call or text me at 480-440-4600. Best of luck to you!
