Anybody up for a trip to Payson? I have been up there quite a few times and it is really nice. It is going to be on January 14th. We are meeting up at the South East corner of a Wal-Mart parking lot. The addy is: 730 E. McKellips Rd. Mesa, AZ 85203. We will meet up at 9:30am and take off at 10:00am. We are going to cruise up there together from Mesa, unless you just want to meet up there. 87 is a nice, fun drive. Hope to get as many of us up there as possible. I am also inviting many other clubs such as: Mazda, 350Z, Sky, Solstice, Sportbikes, Viper, GTO, PT Cruiser, Prowler, Mustang, Impala, Classics, Lightning and Corvette.

currently we have 6 people from the arizona impala club, and the southern arizona corvette club said they will attend. as well as a decent group from the arizona SRT-4 owners club. hope some guys from here can attend.

Sounds fun.....but when you get sportbikes involved it will turn into a race for them...lol. I cruise that run at least once a month and when I see a bunch a sportbikes, they're always flying 100+ by me...

Also..where will everyone meet once we get to Payson? The old Walmart plaza has a bunch of open parking in front along Hwy 260 and there's a bunch a places to eat. We can meet at the Casino too. There's a Famous Sams up there but parking sucks. Lets hope the weather holds up.

Oh...what are the cross streets for the Wallie mart?

Hmmmm...I'll have to tell my neighorbor with his 67' Impala SS convertable....

The casino is a great meet spot, but the restaraunt there sucks for large gatherings.

Wal-mart parking lot can be a real PITB on the weekends, there's a growing population of ricers that futz around in there all day, them and RV's coming and going all day is a pain.

The theater parking lot is pretty good too, and Chili's is right there, plus the new Main Street Grille is real nearby.

The parking lot in front of Stage and Sears is always real open and sets up as a good get together place. Go into Payson to the 260/87 intersection, take a right, then turn left at the 2nd light (Manzanita) Stage is immediately on your left.

For restaraunts, there is Fargo's Steakhouse on 260 that's pretty good. Or for dinner go out 260 through Star Valley to Diamond Point Shadows. Sat. night is prime rib and its good.

The top of Mt. Ord along 87 has a pull off that is a great photo op.
