well we are in. and we have just found out that AMP is also going to this event:awsome: so it might be fun lol :laughing1: I hope to see a ass load of PSR shirts at this event

BTW...if anyone was planning on Friday night drags this week forget it. I called and even though the website says that there is a Friday night T&T on the 8th it has been canceled and only the Pinks cars are running Friday night. I can't believe they did this, we had a large group that was planning on going. They even run the T&T on the Friday before FFW, but they close it for Pinks?

Hey the only shirt I have to wear Saturday is my AMP Shirt.. Just FYI but I am going to Stage 3 tomorrow so maybe I'll pick someting up???

Its too bad my car wont pass tech (no roll cage for 9's or even tens for that matter). I really think I can go low 10's possibly high 9's with 24psi. Trap speed alone tells me I have a 10 second car with only 17lbs. But until I get the slip, its an 11.5 second car at 135 with a 2.1 60' . No woulda coulda shoulda out of me. I've been practicing my launching in the church parking lot and have yanked the tires off the ground :2thumbs: The sct 2 step is removed so now I can launch at 6500 and hold on. Good Luck Dan, I hope you get picked and win some cash for the business. I will try to make it to the track in a few weeks for a chance to grab some glory.

I would but I need the one from MM that has the removeable cross bar wich is not NHRA legal. I guess I could pad the shit out of it though and they'd never no.

I would say as long as it is in the car you should be OK. I never even had anyone in tech look at my welds or the cross bar. They seem to be most concerned with the harness expiration dates.

Shitty, and pinks was drooling over the car as it wasn't the same shit, different decade trailer queen nova/camaro/foxbody/chevelle with a chute + bars. I strongly feel we would have made top 16 as we would have ran the car all out and within the brackets (don't buy the Pinks marketing bullshit, there is a TON of sandbagging out there), and I have more fingers on my right hand than there were real street cars out there.

We never even made it to the 1/8 mile. Snapped 2x 1000 hp rated input shafts like toothpicks. JW finally got the converter right though; problem is C4 might not be enough tranny for this car with just 21 PSI and nothing else. Hopefully it was a damaged C4 after what happened with the other converters.

One thing is for sure, PA will be getting a "courtesy package" from us in the mail.
